Rhode Island for Health Care unveiled an open letter to the Governor and General Assembly from businesses across the state in support of the Fair Share Health Care Act. Coalition partners, members of the business community and Health Care Voters lobbied the state Senate on Wednesday, April 12, when the Senate Health and Human Services Committee held a hearing on the Fair Share Health Care Act.
Health Care Voters were also in attendance, representing Rhode Islanders across the state who want large, profitable corporations to pay their fair share of their employees’ health care costs.
